- John, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that
- you will probably be able to connect with the following initialization
- string (recommended by Xircom for the CEM28 which they acknowledge
- does on work correctly):

- AT &F &Q8 \Q2 W2 S95=47 S37=34

- The bad news is that this disables certain modem functions. Xircom
- promises that they are working on a fix. Also, make sure you have the
- most current driver and firmware upgrades.
